The painting was inspired by the following Bible verse:
“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”
(NIV, Mark 1:35)
Jesus sets a great example for us to seek solitary moments with the Lord to prepare us for the day ahead.
If even Jesus needed to recharge spiritually & seek guidance from the Father, how much more do we need to be spending time with the Lord to give us wisdom to make the right choices & spiritual power to remain strong in our faith.
